Redwood Consignment Intake Process


Transform your outdoor gear & clothing into cash. Let's get started in 5 easy steps!... 

 

 STEP 1 - Gather your items
  • Gather your gently used, modern outdoor gear and clothing. All items must be washed and in working condition.
  • We accept up to 12 clothing items per consignment drop & unlimited gear items.

 STEP 2 - Complete & Submit your Consignment Agreement
  • Download or fill-in the Consignor Agreement in-store & submit.
  • We will create an account for you (Tip: Intake is faster by submitting the Consignment Agreement Form in advance)
 STEP 3 - Bring in your items for intake
  • Please plan for the consignment process to take approx. 15 mins.
  • When you first come in, you can go straight to the Consignment counter. 
  • We'll take a look through your items while you browse around the shop, and then give you back any items we cannot consign for you.
  • First time consignors will get an email later that day with a link to where to login to your online Consignor Portal.
 STEP 4 - Check your account
  • We will enter your items into your account after intake, then research and price them!
  • Your account will contain all the info you need to see the status of all your items.
  • Your account is in your Consignor Portal - available after submitting your Agreement.
  • Your account will contain the current status of your items:
    Active/Sold/Donated
 STEP 5 - Collect your consignment credit/payout
  • As your items sell, the cash in your account will be paid out - you will be able to see your history and pay-out.

 IMPORTANT GUIDELINES - Please review
  1. All items are accepted on a case-by-case basis.

  2. To consign your items with Redwood - a consignment agreement must be signed & submitted. The consignment agreement only needs to be signed once - once you're signed up - welcome to the partnership!

  3. An employee will look through your items when you drop them off and give you back any that we cannot accept.

  4. This process usually takes approx. 15 minutes. If you do not wish to stay while we look through your items, you may leave them all and any items we cannot accept will be donated to a local not-for-profit organization! 

  5. We do not accept items using outdated technology and/or styles – the age of acceptance will vary from item to item.

  6. We cannot accept any helmets unless they are new with tags and modern.

  7. We do not accept white jackets or pants and we are highly selective with other white/very light colour clothing.

  8. We do not accept items with outdated patterns.

  9. We do not accept items from non-outdoor brands or items that do not have a brand - this includes items that are missing logos and tags and therefore no longer have an identifiable brand.

  10. All items must be clean, modern, and in working condition. Items that are dirty, old, and need repair will not be accepted.

  11. We only accept up to 12 clothing items per drop per consignor, but unlimited gear items. (If you are from out of town and would like to make arrangements to drop more than 12 clothing items at one time, please contact us ahead of arrival.

IF AN EMPLOYEE CHOOSES NOT TO ACCEPT YOUR ITEM(S), PLEASE BE KIND AND RESPECT THEIR DECISION. DISRESPECT AND/OR ABUSE OF EMPLOYEES WILL RESULT IN ALL OF YOUR ITEMS BEING RETURNED AND THE TERMINATION OF OUR CONSIGNMENT PARTNER
